Day Forty-two: Wait for Summit Window Continues

Today, after a delicious breakfast thanks to some bacon that Mario Panzerri had brought, I headed back to my tent for some more sleep. Last night, I woke up feeling quite nauseous possibly from the lack of ventilation in the kitchen tent while we were making dinner. I woke up for lunch, during which Mario and I discussed the weather forecast and summit plans. Some people were heading up today and tomorrow, but we decided to stay in base camp, as the forecast called for alot of snow in the next couple of days. During dinner, we were visited by the Russians who wanted to know what our forecast called for. They seemed quite pessimistic when we told them that snow was forecast for the next couple of days, but we told them to come back in the morning when we had received a new forecast, as forecasts reading too far into the future tend to be off. Mario and I are quite optimistic for a summit window centering around the 10th, but for the moment will wait patiently in base camp.
