Day Thirteen: Askole to Jhula

Today, we woke up at 6:00am, packed up our bags and made sure that none were over 25kg’s (it turns out my generator weighs 30kg’s but I will just have to pay extra). We grabbed a quick bite to eat and got on our way to Jhula. The walk was like I remembered; two hours to Korofong and another hour and a half to Jhula. I arrived at 1:00pm and was followed by Ali, our liaison officer, Karim, and Hughes. The Italian GI and GII Expedition was also sharing camp with us, so the time went by quickly, despite the fact that it was 42 degrees Celsius. We had dinner at 7:30pm and went to bed.
